Great news! Especially for baseball fans of all ages…

The TJ-JL Foundation joined with Bethesda Big Train Baseball for the 2014 season. We participated in the Big Train’s “Nonprofits of the Night” sponsored by the Trawick Foundation.

The extraordinary nonprofits of Montgomery County have been showcased all Summer. Big Train Baseball (now a program of BCC Baseball) has been honoring two nonprofits at each of their 24 home baseball games played at Shirley Povich Field. The TJ-JL Foundation was honored on June 11th as the Big Train took on the Youse’s Orioles. Our 2014 Youth Ambassadors, Simon & Oliver Black, threw out the first pitch.

For more information about Big Train Baseball, including the schedule and directions to the field, please log onto http://www.bigtrain.org. Povich Field is located in Cabin John Regional Park near Westfield Montgomery.
